The name “Cats ’n Pottery” started out as the internet screen name of Anne Mulhollan, president and primary owner of Retail Systems Associates Inc. (RSA) As you might guess, Anne is fond of cats and collects pottery (as well as depression period glassware and items designed by Royal Aarden Hickman). She originally reserved the domain name “www.catsnpottery.com” with the intent of eventually using it to trade in her beloved pottery and glassware on the internet. The domain name “CatsnPottery” was never actually used by Anne for anything. SO when Retail Systems Associates, Inc. wanted a live website for testing, it was only natural to use the already reserved domain name. Very soon after that “Cats ’n Pottery” the on-line store started to become a reality. CatsnPottery.com is RSA’s test site but it is ALSO a real on-line store. Through this website, RSA’s associates have a chance to experience first-hand what it takes to set up and manage a live website for a small retailer … nothing is done for or goes out to our clients without being tested here first. Cats ’n Pottery is an integral part of RSA’s commitment to providing quality services and products to all of our clients. |
